Rascafría Town Council (Ayuntamiento de Rascafría) is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.turismorascafria.es.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018 owing to the exemptions and the non-compliance of the aspects listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Non-compliance with Royal Decree 1112/2018

  • Some links consisting only of icons, such as the social media links in the header or the logo, do not have alternative text describing their destination (requirements 9.1.1.1 and 9.2.4.4 of standard UNE-EN 301549:2022; WCAG 2.1 success criteria 1.1.1 and 2.4.4).
  • Some text, such as the “Featured” labels on business listings, does not have sufficient contrast with its background (requirement 9.1.4.3; WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3).
  • The page settings restrict pinch-to-zoom on mobile devices (requirement 9.1.4.4; WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.4).
  • Some text on the user login and registration forms is displayed in a different language from the rest of the page without the change of language being indicated (requirement 9.3.1.2; WCAG 2.1 success criterion 3.1.2).
  • Some links within body text can only be distinguished from the surrounding text by colour (requirement 9.1.4.1; WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.1).
  • Not all content is yet available in English: business listings, routes, news and events are currently published in Spanish only.

b) Disproportionate burden

c) Content outside the scope of the applicable legislation

  • Interactive maps and online mapping services (Article 3.4.d of Royal Decree 1112/2018). The essential information for each point of interest, accommodation or business, such as its address, is also provided as text on its listing page.
  • Third-party content that has been neither funded nor developed by Rascafría Town Council and is not under its control, such as embedded YouTube video players (Article 3.4.e of Royal Decree 1112/2018).

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 25 October 2026.

The method used to prepare it was a self-assessment carried out by the company responsible for developing and maintaining the website, using automated validation tools (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA) on a sample of pages, together with a preliminary manual review.

A formal accessibility review in accordance with standard UNE-EN 301549:2022 is planned. This statement will be updated once it has been completed.

Enforcement procedure

You may also do so if twenty working days have passed without a reply.

The claim can be submitted to the General Registry of Rascafría Town Council or via its electronic office (sede electrónica).
