Get your phone out and discover Rascafría as you have never seen it before. The village’s digital guide puts more than 70 places of interest in your pocket, along with walking routes with maps and audio guides, and augmented reality experiences. You can open it straight in your browser or, if you use Android, install the free app.

El Molino de los Batanes in augmented reality

The paper for the first edition of Don Quixote was made here. The site is closed today, but through your phone’s camera you can watch the building rise again and the great wheel turn, driven by the River Lozoya. Get close to the 3D models and follow the whole process: the old rags, the water-powered hammers, the vats, the press, the drying loft and the glazing machine that left the paper ready for the printing press.

Rascafría Village Trail: play as you stroll

A one-kilometre walk through the heart of the village, from the Church of San Andrés to the Parque del Río, past the Town Hall, the Plaza de la Villa and the bridges over the Lozoya. A question awaits you at every stop: get it right, score points and unlock achievements. Ideal for families.
